Day 16 - BBQ Fish with Sambal Oelek & Pineapple

My last couple of Barbeques have been pretty average. Sausage and Steak, Chicken Kebabs and Corn. Today I went all out and slapped something decent up.

The sight alone of these ingredients moistened my palette into a smooth glisten.

Tarakihi Fillets.
Lemon.
Pineapple.
Corriander.
Sambal Oelek. (A decent little Chilli Paste).

I brushed the Fish (in an up and down motion) with Sambal Oelek and sprinkled some fresh, chopped Corriander on there, making sure my hand went up and down like one of those douchey cocktail barmen (it works, it really does). I then squeezed a bit of Lemon on there too.

We chucked it on the hotplate with some chopped Pineapple, freshly slain Courgette from Jonathan's wicked garden, and some "Bad Dad" style corn on the grill.

Jonathan prepares the meal with some delicious salad.

"Absolutely amazing" - Jonathan Burgess.

When eaten with the BBQ Pineapple, the Fish tasted incredible. Let me put it this way: If my tongue was a penis, I wouldn't be able to close my mouth.
Win, win Barbeque. Will definitely have to try that again sometime.
